Sharon Panelo is an award-winning social and digital brand strategist with 10 years of agency experience crafting stories & strategy for the world’s most iconic brands including MasterCard, Michael Kors, McKinsey & Co., Viacom/MTV Networks, Oscar Health, General Mills, Chandon, Prada, L'Oréal, and Rolex.
As VP Strategy Director of McCann NY, she co-founded the agency’s first social media discipline and branded content studio. As a speaker, she’s presented on brands, culture, and career strategy for Social Media Week, AdWeek at The New York Times, Sweathead, and the We Are Next podcast. She’s been featured as an Industry Hero by Miami Ad School and is the strategist Resident Mentor for June 2020 for LGBTQIA+ and multicultural professionals. Ms. Panelo holds an M.S. Strategic Communications from Columbia University. She is based in New York City, and available everywhere.
